Thank you for your keen interest in the Greenovation Design Competition organised by Khazanah Nasional Berhad in collaboration with Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (“ILAM”). We received more than 200 inspiring designs from both students and practitioners across Malaysia.
The competition was launched by the former Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak on 4th September at Taman Tugu park during Khazanah’s Hari Hasanah event where the former Prime Minister also planted a Belian tree. He encouraged Malaysians to take part in the competition as it allows them to contribute to the project.
After rigorous shortlisting sessions, we are proud to announce the Top 20 finalists (10 for the bench competition and 10 for gazebo competition) listed below. There will be a final judging session, scheduled to be held early next year, where the Top 20 finalists will present their designs. Three winning designs from each category (bench and gazebo) will be built and placed throughout the park. We will update the finalists separately on the exact date of the final judging session.
In the meantime, there will be an exhibition of the designs from the Top 20 finalists. This is a chance for the public to vote for their winning designs. The public votes will contribute to the final judging round. The dates and venue of the exhibition will be updated on this website.
Finalists listed in no particular order. There will be a finalists briefing session on 7th Dec 2017. We will contact you separately for further information.
