Taman Tugu Forest Park is Now Open

Part of the Taman Tugu Forest Park is now open as a green space for you to learn, appreciate and experience one of Malaysia’s greatest heritage – our flora and fauna, and to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Opening Hours
7.00am – 6.30pm daily
Entry is free and open to all
Management may close the park due to inclement weather

Entrances
There are two entrances to the forest park, along Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin, as shown in the masterplan above; the Taman Tugu Campsite Entrance and Taman Tugu Nursery Entrance.

Parking
Parking is available at:

  • Rumah Kelab Pegawai Tadbir dan Diplomatik (PPTD) (look for “Tugu View Café”)
    ~ 2 mins walk to Taman Tugu Trails Nursery Entrance
  • Padang Merbok Carpark (look for “Padang Merbok”)
    ~ 12-15 mins walk to Taman Tugu Trails Nursery Entrance
  • Lake Gardens Multi Storey Carpark (look for “Padang Bertingkat Taman Botani KL”)
    ~ 12-15 mins walk to Taman Tugu Trails Nursery Entrance

You can Google or Waze to:

  • Taman Tugu Campsite Entrance” to enter from the Taman Tugu Campsite Entrance
  • Taman Tugu Nursery”/ “Taman Tugu Nursery Entrance” to enter from the Taman Tugu Nursery Entrance

Recommended Attire / Footwear
Casual attire and sports shoes are recommended

*Bicycles and pets are not allowed in the trails.

Forest House @ Taman Tugu Nursery
The Taman Tugu Nursery is also now open and has a covered space called The Forest House. This space was designed, built, and contributed by Forest House Sdn Bhd. It is available for you to book and use for educational workshops and/or team building sessions.


Opening Hours
7.00am – 6.30pm daily

Capacity & Setup
This space accommodates about 50 pax (with long tables and benches set up).

To book the Forest House, please mail greenscene@tamantuguproject.com.my with the following details:

  1. Name of company/ organisation/ group
  2. Intended event date and time
  3. Type of event and purpose
  4. Estimated number of people

Some ground rules:

  1. As we are preserving and conserving nature, we would appreciate if everyone does their part. Plastic items are discouraged (including but not limited to bottles, containers, and cutleries)
  2. Please clean up the space after use
  3. Please respect all items/people in and around the space
  4. Food can be catered in/served at the renter’s own cost (Rule no. 1 applies)
  5. Furniture and setup can be brought into the space and arranged to suit the event requirements, at the renter’s own cost

The Taman Tugu Campsite is still work in progress and is targeted to be opened by Q2 2019.
